Freshmill
Some artists chase the spotlight. Freshmill grew into it one phone recording at a time. Starting in 2020 in Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos, he built his sound from the most honest place available: his own emotions. "Everyday" is the clearest window into that approach. Written in a season of reflection on life and love, the song asks nothing of the listener except honesty. That sincerity, carried on smooth Afrobeats rhythm in the lineage of Wizkid, is what makes Freshmill our Artist of the Season. And by his own account, this is just the beginning.
⭐ Artist of the Week
